  • Kathleen Adams

    Kathleen Adams is a co-founder of Cape Ann Arts Alive and longtime musical collaborator with founders Kristina Martin and Mark Nelson. For more than 30 years she has been the Music Director and Organist, as well as Artistic Director of the concert series at the Annisquam Village Church. As a teacher, she has mentored many students in vocal and keyboard arts. She has long been known as “Caterina la Canterina” , singing with the Italian American Band, entertaining in fiestas throughout the region. She will be serving CAAA as invaluable off-site consultant this season.

  • Renée Dupuis

    Renée Dupuis is a Gloucester-based vocalist, pianist and music educator. She is a member of the bands “What Time Is It Mr. Fox?”, “SAFETY”, and "Renée & Joe”, a lead singer with "The Sultans" and a featured soloist with “The Cape Ann Big Band” and "Compaq Big Band." Renée teaches voice and chorus at Waring School (Beverly, MA) and serves as the Minster of Music at the West Gloucester Trinitarian Church. Renée is a mom of two and enjoys playing, gardening and attending Cape Ann's many amazing outdoor concerts with her husband and children during the summer.

  • Steve Lacey

    Steve Lacey enjoys an eclectic music career in his hometown of Gloucester, MA. With a B.A. in Music from Salem State University and M.M. in Jazz Studies at City College of New York, he has been teaching and performing for over 15 years. He has taught in many different settings, including former Gloucester music program - Sound Harbor, and O’Maley Middle and Gloucester Elementary schools. Presently, Steve teaches private and group lessons for guitar, ukulele, piano, organ, clarinet, recorder and saxophone, serves as the music director at Gloucester’s Unitarian Universalist Church, and performs regularly on Cape Ann and the greater Boston area.

  • Kristina Martin

    Kristina Martin is a co-founder of Cape Ann Arts Alive and has taught voice/chorus/theater arts locally with the Rockport Public Schools, the Waring School in Beverly, Annisquam Village Players, the Northshore Music Theater, and in private studio. She is the youth choir director/assistant music director at the First Congregational Church of Rockport. Professionally she has performed with the Kansas City Lyric Opera, Starlight Theater, Washington Opera Company, and NSMT.

Other staff /collaborators have included, first, the ever supportive staff  and volunteers at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Teachers -Pastor Anne Deneen and Eva DiLascio from St. Paul Lutheran Church, Rose Sheehan from Gloucester UUC,  Jay DiPrima from SJC, Rona Tyndal - pastor of Glo. West Parish Church  and to us, our very own “Snack Queen”, Daisy Nell of Essex -folksinger, songwriter, author, teacher, and community organizer, the staff at Shalin Liu Performance Center, Miranda Aisling and Cathy Kelley of CAM, Stuart Siegel, Jane Clark, Mary Barker, Volunteers and Crew of the Schooner Adventure, Mayor Sofatia Romeo and staff at Gloucester City Hall, Morgan Faulds Pike - sculptor of the Fishermen’s Wives Statue, Staff at our Lady of Good Voyage Church, Christine Mallette - photographer, and Suzanne Brown-photographer, archivist and online facilitator.
